Elle a pass\u00e9 son enfance \u00e0 se d\u00e9lecter dans la nature, dans les grands espaces d\u2019arbres et de fleurs, sur la c\u00f4te du Pacifique et dans les montagnes de l\u2019Oregon. Cela lui manque encore et elle essaie de capter l\u2019essence des \u00e9l\u00e9ments naturels dans son travail.<\/p>\n

En tant que photographe devenue peintre, Kathryn a naturellement cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des images r\u00e9alistes et \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des techniques \u00e0 cet effet. Celles qui lui servent le plus sont l\u2019aquarelle sur papier ou panneau d\u2019argile (Claybord) et l\u2019huile et les pastels \u00e0 l\u2019huile sur toile ou panneau de bois.<\/p>\n
